Pumpkin Patch Maternity Leggings
Home. From Dog Bones to Tie Dye. By Dallas Fritz, Staff Writer. November 1. 2. 2. Pumpkin Patch Maternity Leggings' title='Pumpkin Patch Maternity Leggings' />The group of students that amazed us with their work making the Brewhaus Dog Bones from last year are back in action with a new plan this year, starting their own tie dye shirt business. About a year ago, there was a small group of students here at the high school that were involved in an organization called Brewhaus Dog Bones. This program touched and inspired Mrs. Rose Kappesser, Special Education Teacher, who later brought the program to Ross and then became a success that grew from there. But this year there is something new added to the high school, a tie dye t shirt business. They are starting their own business which involves them making their very own tie dye t shirts. But how and why did they start this Kappesser, explains what is new this year from this great group of students. The students created their own business in addition to the Brewhaus Dog Bones. At the beginning of the year, I asked the students if they wanted to attempt their own business and if so, what kind of business would they like to runCity Peach Style, Motherhood, Having Both. This post is sponsored by Carters however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own. Ashley Ebersole Niehaus came up with the idea of making tie dye shirts and the group also thought it was a good idea, said Kappesser. These students have come grown drastically and they share what they like most about this process. I like that we can run our own high school business and that we can handle it. We are part of something special, said senior Ashley Ebersole Niehaus. But, how their business started is different than the Brewhaus Dog Bones. Brewhaus Dog Bones is an organization that was already started and had the framework when the Ross students began. Discover the latest fashion and trends in menswear and womenswear at ASOS. This new business with the tie dye t shirts is brand new and they are making them all from scratch on their own. Because they did an amazing job with making the dog bones, they wanted to challenge themselves with carrying their own business. These seven students meet during third block to work on a variety of skills. Kappesser said, My students are here to work on vocational and transition skills to help them be successful as adults. They are also in my class to further their knowledge in personal finance and business management. The purpose of this student led business is to prove to the community, local business owners, and these students that they are capable of far more than most people expect of them. Most teenagers even adults never try to get the experience of creating a business and managing every piece of it. This group of students are receiving experiments that many will never receive and they are more prepared for the work force than most of their peers. It is my goal that local businesses will see that these students are able to perform difficult tasks and also see that they are a vulnerable member of any place of employment, said Kappesser. Staff members are inspired by these students efforts and their desire to be more successful than some may think. This inspiration has led several staff members to purchase shirts from them. I bought a shirt to support and help teach them real world skills to be supportive of them. Its important to support students who might not have other opportunities for teachable moments, said Student Services Secretary, Stephanie Snider. Because this business is doing so well, there are other ways for the business to expand. We want to expand this to students more so that everyone can join. We want to be able to sell the shirts in the cafeteria or at the bookstore, said Niehaus. While its not clear if shirts will be available to students in the future, in the meantime, lets be supportive and give these students the applause they deserve Be Grateful, Not Hateful. By Lilly Toerner, Staff Writer and Marketing Manager and Contributing Writer Alex DiersingNovember 5, 2. As the name denotes, Thanksgiving is a holiday dedicated to the focus of being thankful. This time of year gives us that warm, fuzzy feeling where we can reflect on the things we are fortunate enough to have. During the hustle and bustle that is life, it is easy to forget to sit back and remember what we are thankful for, even the most obvious things such as those you love, your personal life, and your work life. I am thankful for the love and support of my family and friends. They are one of the greatest blessings that can be given. I cannot imagine my life without them, said science teacher Mrs. Meg Cottingham. English teacher Mrs. Alpha Headline Font there. Kirsten Main said, Im thankful for students who want to learn for learnings sake, and these students are willing to do the hard work of thinking and challenging themselves beyond what they thought they could. Im thankful for caring and compassionate colleagues and a job I love. In life, there are so many things people dont truly think about. Often times, we find ourselves missing out on lifes potential as a result. People take the little things in life for granted. So often, we wait for a big payoff that never comes or comes too late. As we wait, life happens, and we miss the everyday goodness that really matters, said English teacher Mrs. Emily Hamblin. One student shares their thoughts on the realization of how tomorrow is never promised for anyone. Senior Brock Tatum said, Waking up every morning is something people take for granted. Not everyone sits down and thinks about what they have today. They think its guaranteed. Tatum went on to say, Growing up seeing some of my friends get cancer and how they went through it all. It allowed me to realize that life can change in the drop of a pin. A few of our staff members thought about others, as opposed to just themselves, giving strong advice on things taken for granted. Assistant Principal Mrs. Emily Doblinger said, I think people take kindness for granted. The effort people make to choose kindness over negativity is under appreciated. I think we take each other for granted. Sonic Heroes Ps2 Iso Torrent there. I feel like we dont value other people the way we should and it shows in the way we treat others, said Intervention Specialist Mrs. Heather Schulkers. Waking up every day with a thankful heart is the best way to live. To appreciate the fact that you are alive and breathing is something to always be grateful for. Happiness comes from appreciating good aspects of our lives and not dwelling on the bad. The bad will always be there, but focusing on it wont make it any better. By the wise words of English teacher Mrs. Rachel Smith, Karen Salmansohn says we have to look for the good in the bad, the happy in your sad, the gain in your pain, and what makes you grateful not hateful. A New Face in the Athletic Department. By Camryn Di. Angelo and Contributing Writer Sophia Smiley. November 5, 2. 01. Dealing with sweaty, complaining student athletes all day might seem like a hard job thats why RHS makes sure to hire the best athletic trainers for the position. As fall sports come to an end, the newest member of the Athletic Department is starting to settle in nicely at RHS. The new athletic trainer, Khari Curry, is excited and ready for what is to come. It keeps me busy. I like the kids. I like the coaches. I like the staff here. I wouldnt trade it for the world. Its awesome so far, said Curry. While some students are used to seeing Curry every day for sport related injuries, others arent fully aware of the importance of an Athletic Trainer. School trainers help to ice sore injuries, rub out painful knots, and make sure if its safe for a player to participate in the game.
